Abstract
En el mundo de las publicaciones científicas, es primordial tener presente el llamado “derecho de autor”. Es una práctica algo común encontrar en diversas obras remitidas por el Comité Editorial de una revista científica a los evaluadores para su respectiva revisión, copia de fragmentos o textos completos plasmados en otros trabajos ya publicados; esto desdice de la confiabilidad académica del autor, ya sea que lo haya hecho de manera consciente, o simplemente por simple desconocimiento. Por ello, es requerido hacer del conocimiento público cuál es la apropiada práctica al querer reflejar en el contexto de un manuscrito las ideas originales de otro autor.
