Bachelor Degree of Religious Culture and Moral Knowledge According to the Views of Religious Culture and Moral Knowledge Teacher Candidates

Abstract

The aim of this study is to evaluate the competency of the courses via the perceptions of the teacher candidates in Religion and Morals Undergraduate Program by means of functionality of the course, syllabus (topics, presentation), materials used in classes (books, articles etc.) and the lecturer. Accordingly, “The Attitudes of Teacher candidates in Religion and Morals Undergraduate Program on Field, Liberal Education and Proficiency Lessons Scale” is applied to senior students in 2012-13 Educational Year from 9 universities and the perceptions of those on Field, Liberal Education and Proficiency Lessons are tried to be defined. 320 candidate teachers involved in the study. The present study is important as it indicates that the involvement of the teacher candidates in the preparation of the syllabus. The mentioned questionnaire is applied to the sample and the results are analyzed via the use of SPSS statistics program
