Badanie i modelowanie wybranych parametrów procesu hamowania dla tarczy hamulcowej z nowym profilem powierzchni ciernej

Abstract

The article presents a model of friction coefficient and temperature variation with a new friction surface profile with holes made in a spiral line with one roll. Such a shielding concept after previous simulations of drilling in accordance with Archimedes spiral of one coil is a compromise between the stable course of instantaneous coefficient of friction as a function of braking speed and the wear of friction material. Testing on drilled and severed discs significantly improves the friction characteristics of the brake in terms of improved braking performance, slight fluctuations in the instantaneous friction coefficient or constant braking delay but deteriorates parameters such as wear of friction material, noise increase in the first braking seconds and dusting of friction material.
