Abstract
The paper presents the problem of testing the air flow meter. The paper presents two methods for testing the device. The first of these is the basis for assessing the efficiency of this component, the test voltage characteristics of the flow meter. The second method is a study of one of the control signals developed by the controller of the effect on the signal, among others AC signal from the flow meter. As a result of these measurements is determined "working map" of the test signal from the controller, which can be the basis for further research. The technical condition of the meter is the basis of assessment of the work of the whole engine system, and certainly when assessing the state of the EGR system, the development of fuel delivery and the quality of exhaust emissions from the engine.
