BAKHTIN'S CONTRIBUTIONS TO THINK TRAINING OF ART TEACHERS BEYOND THE CURRICULUM

Abstract

This study is based on Mikhail Bakhtin's dialogism theory to reflect on the dialogic relations in an experience in the formation of art teachers that proposes collaborative. In order to contribute to the art teacher training observatory, I present in this study a reflection on the powerof the statements in videographic language. The data discussed are from a research carried out with undergraduate students in visual arts from a Brazilian university and an American university, in order to identify how authorship processes occur in collaborative training experiences and distance not foreseen in the curriculum. In the light of a ethico-aesthetic theoretical / methodological perspective, which presupposes an ethical and responsive listening, we consider the utterances produced in video by these two groups of subjects participating in an extension project. Data were collected from subtitled videocards and discussions in a virtual learning environment. From the analysis, it is possible to infer that the statements of the videocards were constructed from multiple voices in the two contexts (Brazilian and North American) connecting and moving the links of the dialogical chain. Promoting resonances in the dialogue of the subjects and producing meaning between them. It is also necessary to consider the impact of this project on the curricula of both courses, regarding the curricularisation of extension and in the international degree programs.
