[b]ANALYSIS OF VARIATION METHODS FOR OPTIMUM CONTROL  OF NON-STATIONARY OSCILLATIONS IN MECHANICAL SYSTEMS[/b]  

Abstract

Variation methods for optimum control of non-stationary oscillations in mechanical systems have been analysed. The principle of maximum has been given for crane systems. Connection between Pontrjagin principle of maximum and methods of the classical calculus of variations has been estab-lished. V. Krotov sufficient optimality conditions have been substantiated, and constructive ways to choose R. Bellman function have been outlined for them.
