BARRAGE DE FOUM EL GHERZA FACE AU PROBLEME DE FUITES D’EAU

Abstract
Le problème des fuites d’eau dans les retenues de barrages préoccupe les services de l’hydraulique. En effet, en plus des pertes en eau précieuse. Il peut même mettre en péril la sécurité des ouvrages et par conséquent présente des menaces sur les biens et les populations se trouvant en aval. Le barrage de Foum-el-Gherza est l’un des barrages algériens fortement sujets à ce problème épineux (TOUMI et REMINI, 2003). Dans le but de lutter contre ce dernier nous avons entamé une étude appliquée à ce barrage, afin de déterminer les endroits idéaux où des travaux d’étanchéité devront être effectués. Les résultats obtenus témoignent de la complexité du problème. Malgré cela, ils permettent d’une part de dresser une méthodologie nous permettant d’entreprendre l’étude de ce genre de phénomène. D’autre part ils permettent aussi d’ouvrir d’autres axes de recherche sur ce domaine.
