BASIC COMPONENTS OF THE REGIONAL COMPETITIVENESS IN UKRAINE

Abstract
The article defines the essence of the basic and variable components of the regional competitiveness. The criteria and indicators that allow exploring the basic components of regional competitiveness are characterized. The results of the analysis of the trends in processes and phenomena that cover the basic components of regional competitiveness in Ukraine are presented. The basic components of regional competitiveness are the following: infrastructure and accessibility of the region, human capital, efficiency of production potential. The variable components include regional openness, management, and innovation.
