Bayesian Analysis Of Gumbel Type II Distribution Under Doubly Censored Samples Using Different Loss Functions
Journal Title: Caspian Journal of Applied Sciences Research - Year 2012, Vol 1, Issue 10
Abstract
Gumbel type II distribution is very usfull in life testing. In this paper, the Bayesian analysis of this distribution under the doubly censored data has been considered. The posterior distributions have been derived under the assumption of informative and non-informative priors. The Bayes estimates and associated risks have been obtained under the assumption of each prior using different loss functions. The Bayesian credible intervals have also been constructed and evaluated. The posterior predictive distributions have been derived to predict the future values of the variable. The performance of the estimates have been compared under a simulation study along with a real life data.

Semi-invariant -Submanifolds of trans-Sasakian Manifolds
This paper is devoted to the study of a semi-invariant –submanifolds of trans-Sasakian manifold. Further we investigated the integrability of the distribution defined by this submanifold. An addition, some results are...
Simulation of leaching nitrate with HYDRUS-1D in lysimetery studying under wheat cultivated in arid and semi-arid conditions of Dezful, Iran
Nitrogen is considered as an essential element for plants. However, its high solubility results in leaching it into soil deep. Due to saving in time and costs, mathematic models are commonly used in simulating some param...
Reproduction of Aphanius dispar dispar (Rüppell, 1829) in Bushehr Dalaki River, South of Iran
This study aimed to investigate the investigation about reproduction of Aphanius dispar dispar (Rüppell, 1829) in Dalaki River, Bushehr. Dalaki River near a Dashtestan city (latitude: 29° 28' and longitude: 51° 17'...
Seasonal Abundance and Sex Ratio of Dominant Acridid Species in Ballavpur Wild Life Sanctuary of West Bengal, India (Orthoptera: Acrididae)
Acridids have a high reproductive potential and high nutritional value and may be important in energy and nutrient cycling. Seasonal abundance and sex ratio of dominant acridid species were studied on six species v...
Shrimp Stock Assessment in Bushehr Coastal Waters of the Persian Gulf
Data of a trawl survey in 2011 was analyzed to estimate the abundance of shrimp resources in Bushehr coastal waters of the Persian Gulf. Samples were collected at 44 selected trawl stations following a stratified random...
