Behavior of Ni/Al2O3 Nanocomposite Thin Layers in Corroding Environment
Journal Title: Analele Universitatii "Dunarea de Jos" din Galati. Fascicula IX, Metalurgie si Stiinta Materialelor - Year 2009, Vol 32, Issue 2
Abstract
This paper investigates the effects of adding alumina nanoparticles in the electrolyte bath on surface topomorphologies and structure of electrodeposited nickel. The influence on the corrosion process in NaCl solutions having various concentration was investigated by using impedance spectroscopy. The experimental data indicates the beneficial roles of alumina nanoparticles on Ni/Al2O3 nanocomposite thin films. The structure of electrocodeposited nanocomposite thin films was investigated by XRD and SEM techniques.

Kinetics of Nitroso R-SALT Sorption on Amberlite IRA 402 Resin
The sorption of nitroso R salt from aqueous solution by ion exchange resins, such as AMBERLITE IRA 402 (Cl- form) , is described. The experimental data have been analyzed by using the sorption kinetics for a first-order...
Research Regarding the Possibility of Obtaining Nitinol by Powder Metallurgy
In the paper the obtaining of nitinol by pressing and sintering of a mixture of nickel and titanium powders is presented. The fabrication of NiTi alloys by powder metallurgy allows avoiding the usual problems related to...
Determination of Glass Transition Temperature for Polyester / Graphene Oxide and Polyester / Graphite Composite by TMA and DSC
The influences of oxide grapheme and grapheme in thermosetting polymer composites are complex and they very much depend on the chemical bonds formed between the additives and the polymer matrix. This study has used polye...
A New Vision about the Dimensioning Calculus for the Frame of the Cold Mill Machine
Dimensioning calculus for a rolling mill machine frame, using resistance classical methods allows determines the introduction of errors .For to do a better precisely of calculus we propose to use “Finish Elements Method”...
Effect of Oxidation on Spectrophotometric and Rheological Parameters of Corn Oil
The aim of this study is the viscosity’s evolution depending on the temperature and the shear rate and the analysis of the transmittance spectra of the oxidized corn oil. Corn oil was oxidized of the temperatures of 100°...
