Benchmarking Educational Institute: A need of an hour

Abstract
There was news that IISC Bangalore has stood the top of National Institutional Raking Framework based on their academic performance. Indian Universities are not at par to attract the foreign students. Only 70% of the graduates from higher educational institutes are unemployable. We are all aware that the Indian education system has numerous challenges. Then there is need to know if students are learning the right things?. At the right time?, Is there a need to set the standards for education?. Are the students are capable to seek the job of their dream?. Are the students aspiring for starting their own venture?. Is institutions are inculcating entrepreneurial values among the students?. These are the main questions surrounding the practice of benchmarking in education in India. This article focuses on the efforts to be taken to become a benchmarking educational system, institute, practice. Dr. Adv.
