Benign fibrous histiocytoma of larynx

Journal Title: Medical Journal Armed Forces - Year 2017, Vol 73, Issue 1

Abstract

Benign fibrous histiocytoma (BFH) is a benign neoplasm of mesenchymal origin composed of histiocytes and fibroblasts. It is a common neoplasm found in the sun-exposed skin of extremities and rarely presents as a non-cutaneous lesion especially in the head and neck. We report the clinical and pathological aspects of a rare case of BFH of the larynx treated at our centre.
