Equipment for testing the indications accuracy of speedometers and altimeters existing on board aircraft and the tightness of the related pneumatic paths
Journal Title: INCAS BULLETIN - Year 2011, Vol 3, Issue 1
Abstract
The equipment is intended to testing the tightness of the catchment pneumatic system (Pitot tube), the transmission (pneumatic paths) and the total and static air pressures processing (aircraft-type instruments) in order to establish the main flight parameters and checking the correctness of the operation of related aircraft instruments: the altimeter and the speedometer.

Subsonic aerodynamics experimental research on gas-dynamic parameters of the flow
Subsonic wind tunnels are generally aerodynamic equipment allowing to obtain in one of their elements, namely in the experimental area where the model is placed, a uniform and stable airflow of determined speed. Wind tu...
Numerical Investigations of Dynamic Stall Control
In this paper we investigated numerically the dynamic stall phenomenon and the possibilities to control it, with application to vertical axis wind turbines (for urban users). The Phenomenon appear at low tip speed ratio...
Advanced Trailing Edge Blowing Concepts for Fan Noise Control
This study documents trailing edge blowing research performed to reduce rotor / stator interaction noise in turbofan engines. The existing technique of filling every velocity deficit requires a large amount of air and is...
Numerical Methods for Transverse Vibration Analysis of Straight Euler and Timoshenko Beams
This paper presents a short review of numerical methods used for lateral vibration analysis in the case of straight Euler and Timoshenko beams. A particular integral method is described with more details. This approximat...
Dynamic Performances of the Automatic Flight Control System
This paper explains why the combination of programming codes represents a true engineering tool in aircraft systems investigating. Flight safety and flying quality are extremely important to modern aviation industry. The...
