BER ANALYSIS OF CODED AND UNCODED MIMO-OFDM SYSTEM IN WIRELESS COMMUNICATION
Journal Title: Indian Journal of Computer Science and Engineering - Year 2010, Vol 1, Issue 4
Abstract
Alamouti’s space-time coding scheme for Multi-Input Multi-Output (MIMO) system has drawn much attention in 4G wireless technologies. Orthogonal frequency division multiplexing (OFDM) is a popular method for high data rate wireless transmission. OFDM may be combined with antenna arrays at the transmitter and receiver to increase the diversity gain and enhance the system capacity on time variant and frequency selective channels, resulting in Multi-Input Multi-Output (MIMO) configuration. This paper explores varies physical layer research challenges in MIMO-OFDM system design including channel modeling, space time block code techniques, channel estimation and signal processing algorithms used for performing time and frequency synchronization in MIMO-OFDM system .The proposed system is simulated in mat lab and analyzed in terms of BER with signals to noise ratio (SNR).The difference of BER for coded and uncoded MIMO system is also analyzed.

Mobile Adhoc Network(MANETS) : Proposed solution to Security Related Issues
Most of the research in MANETS has been focused on Routing issues. Security on the other hand has been given low priority. This paper provides an introduction to Mobile Adhoc Networks, Routing related issues and overview...
“Noise Detection and Noise Removal Techniques in Medical Images”
In this experimental work we have taken different medical images like MRI, Cancer, X-ray, and Brain and we have calculated standard derivations and mean of all these medical images after finding Gaussian noise and then w...
Adaptive Genetic Algorithm Model for Intrusion Detection
Intrusion detection systems are intelligent systems designed to identify and prevent the misuse of computer networks and systems. Various approaches to Intrusion Detection are currently being used, but they are relativel...
Word Sense Disambiguation using case based Approach with Minimal Features Set
In this paper we presented a case based approach for word sense disambiguation using minimal features set. To make the disambiguation, we took only two features for two different methods, post-bigram (immediate left word...
