Big Data Analysis on Heterogeneous Distributed Systems using Remote Method Invocation
Journal Title: IOSR Journals (IOSR Journal of Computer Engineering) - Year 2017, Vol 19, Issue 2
Abstract
Big Data Analysis has become very essential for organizations to arrive at timely decisions, for progressive growth and keeping with the competition. To analyse huge amount of data generated through various business processes, require High Performance Computing machines. But, owning HPC machines and maintaining them, requires large investment and experienced skill set. Moreover, it is difficult to install any proprietary and customized software, on special purpose HPC machines. To overcome all these issues, Distributed Systems can be implemented with the help of cumulative processing power available from large number of under-utilized individual workstations that are commonly available in all organizations. The paper emphasises on executing applications over heterogeneous distributed systems using Java Remote Method Invocation.

An Entropy-based Feature in Epileptic Seizure Prediction Algorithm
Abstract : Epilepsy prediction is a vital demand for people suffering from epileptic onset. Prediction of seizure onsets could be very useful for drug-resistant epileptic patients. We propose an epileptic seizure predict...
Real-Time Link-Reliability Routing for QoS in Wireless Sensor Networks
This paper proposes a Real-Time Link Reliability Routing protocol for wireless sensor networks (WSNs). The protocol achieves to reduce packet deadline miss ratio while considering link reliability, two-hop veloci...
An Automated Approach for Job Scheduling and Work Flow Mining
Abstract: Now a day’s work allotment in a software firm become more important and cumbersome. The main objective of this concept is to reduce the work of the software developers in a software company and work alloc...
Alternate Sort
Sorting algorithms are the main concepts of the subject Data Structures and It’s Applications. These algorithms are designed in arranging the data elements in the sorted order. If the data elements are arranged...
An EfficientHybrid Push-Pull Based Protocol for VOD In Peer-to-Peer network
Abstract : Video-on-Demand is a service where movies are delivered to distributed users with low delay and free interactivity. The traditional client-server architecture experiences scalability issues to provide vi...
