BITCOIN PAYMENTS: EVOLUTION, ADVANTAGES AND DISADVANTAGES

Abstract
In the article, the economic substance of crypto currency is investigated. The basic historical moments of bitcoin are outlined. The main advantages and disadvantages of using bitcoin payments’ transactions are selected. There is proved that this transaction − is primarily distributed p2p network, which has no single emission centre, and there are used asymmetric cryptographic methods of data encryption with using public and private keys for ensuring the anonymity of all transactions in the network.
