[b][i]Towards the Privatization of Labour Market Services. Selected Legal Aspects[/i][/b]

Abstract
Overcoming state monopoly within the area of counteracting unemployment is a long term process. The first step in this direction was the breaking of the monopoly of public employment services for job brokerage. The Act of 2004 on Employment Promotion and Labour Market Institutions provided for a greater participation of non-public entities in job brokerage. In view of this new legislation, non-public entities and public services are meant to cooperate and complement each other. Regardless of these provisions, competitiveness in the area of job brokerage should be promoted if a high level of labour market services is to be achieved.
