BORROWED ROOTS AND THEIR ADAPTATION IN RUSSIAN LANGUAGE

Abstract
This article examines the process of borrowing and adapting foreign words in Russian language. It analyzes the reasons for the emergence of borrowed roots, their impact on the language, and the methods of their integration into the Russian lexicon. Special attention is given to the phonetic, morphological, and semantic changes that borrowed words undergo. Various perspectives on this process are discussed: some experts view borrowings as a threat to linguistic purity, while others see them as a natural linguistic development. The article concludes that the adaptation of borrowed words contributes to the enrichment of the language and its evolution in the context of globalization.
