Bounded l-index and l-M-index and compositions of analytic functions

Abstract
We partially proved a conjecture from Mat. Stud. 47 (2017), no.2, 207--210: for an entire function f the function H(z)=f(1/(1−z)n), n∈N, is of bounded l-index in C∖{0} with l(|z|)=β/(1−|z|)n+1, β>1, if and only if f is of bounded index. Also the boundedness of l-M-index of the function H is investigated. For arbitrary entire functions f and g the boundedness of the l-M-index of the function F(z)=f(g(z)) is studied with respect to boundedness of the M-index of a function f with l(r)=M′g(r), Mg(r)=max{|g(z)|:|z|=r}.

Wiman’s type inequality for multiple power series in an unbounded cylinder domain
In this paper we prove some analogues of Wiman’s inequality for analytic f(z) and random analytic functions f(z,t) on T=Dl×Cp−l, l∈N, 1≤l≤p, I={1,…,l}, J={l+1,…,p} of the form f(z)=∑+∞∥n∥=0anzn, f(z,t)=∑+∞∥n∥=0anZn(t)zn...
Cauchy, infinitesimals and ghosts of departed quantifiers
rocedures relying on infinitesimals in Leibniz, Euler and Cauchy have been interpreted in both a Weierstrassian and Robinson’s frameworks. The latter provides closer proxies for the procedures of the classical masters. T...
Hahn’s pairs and zero inverse problem
We prove that for a function α0:[0,1]→R there exists a separately continuous function f:[0,1]2→R such that E0(fx)=α0(x) on [0,1] if and only if α0 is the nonnegative lower semicontinuous function, where fx(y)=f(x,y) for...
Two-member asymptotic of Laplace-Stieltjes integrals
We study conditions, under which for the Laplace-Stieltjes integral I(σ)=∫∞0f(x)exσdF(x) with the abscissa of the convergence σc=A∈(−∞,+∞] the asymptotical equality lnI(σ)=Φ1(σ)+τ(1+o(1))Φ2(σ) as σ↑A is true, where τ∈R∖{...
Automorphism groups of superextensions of groups
A family L of subsets of a set X is called {\em linked} if A∩B≠∅ for all A,B∈L. A linked family M is {\em maximal linked} if M coincides with each linked family L on X that contains M. The superextension λ(X) consists of...
