BRANCHED SYSTEMS WITH NONLINEAR KINEMATICS – COMPUTER-AIDED ANALYSIS & DESIGN
Journal Title: ROMANIAN JOURNAL OF TECHNICAL SCIENCES - APPLIED MECHANICS - Year 2010, Vol 55, Issue 2
Abstract
This paper presents a computer-aided modeling way of the branched systems with nonlinear kinematics that make possible the design and the analysis, as well. Being very complex systems, the elasto-dynamic study of the real branched systems with nonlinear kinematics require a treatment with special tools. The paper shows how the computational mechanics allowed us to create these necessary study tools.

DIRECT AND INVERSE PROBLEMS FOR AN INHOMOGENEOUS MEDIUM
The plane problem for an inhomogeneous medium is analyzed in this paper by using the cnoidal representation of the material inhomogeneity. This representation approximates the distribution of elastic properties in the ma...
A GENERALIZATION OF THE GIRSANOV THEOREMS ON THE HILBERT SPACE
This paper gives a generalization of the Girsanov theorems on the separable Hilbert space. And we also give a characterization on the Hilbert space of the Wiener processes, using the quadratic variance process.
EFFECT OF DENSITY, ANISOTROPY AND TEMPERATURE ON DYNAMIC COMPRESSION BEHAVIOUR OF PUR FOAMS
Polyurethane (PUR) foam is ideally suited as packing materials or dampers for many safety applications because of its chemical and design versatility and excellent energy absorbing properties. For this purpose, this pape...
EROSION OF INTERACTIVE BUCKLING LOAD OF THIN-WALLED STEEL BAR MEMBERS: CONTRIBUTION OF “TIMISOARA SCHOOL”
The paper presents a summary of the activity and research achievements of the Romanian researchers of Timisoara School in the field of stability of cold-formed steel members. Both, fundamental theory and applied instabil...
TRIBOMECHANICAL CHARACTERISTICS OF CHROMIUM NITRIDE THIN FILMS DEPOSITED AT DIFFERENT PARAMETERS
Different nitride thin films are widely used in applications for cutting tools, biomedicine, and microelectronics and so on. This study is a research on chromium nitride thin films deposited by direct current magnetron s...
