BRANCHED SYSTEMS WITH NONLINEAR KINEMATICS – COMPUTER-AIDED ANALYSIS & DESIGN
Journal Title: ROMANIAN JOURNAL OF TECHNICAL SCIENCES - APPLIED MECHANICS - Year 2010, Vol 55, Issue 2
Abstract
This paper presents a computer-aided modeling way of the branched systems with nonlinear kinematics that make possible the design and the analysis, as well. Being very complex systems, the elasto-dynamic study of the real branched systems with nonlinear kinematics require a treatment with special tools. The paper shows how the computational mechanics allowed us to create these necessary study tools.

AN INTRODUCTION TO DSmT. FIRST PART
The management and combination of uncertain, imprecise, fuzzy and even paradoxical or highly conflicting sources of information has always been, and still remains today, of primal importance for the development of reliab...
INFLUENCE OF LANTHANUM DOPING ON THE STRUCTURAL, MORPHOLOGICAL AND THERMAL CHARACTERISTICS OF NICKEL FERRITE
Lanthanum doped nickel ferrite – NiFe1-δLaδO4 has been synthesised by solid state reaction using nickel and iron oxides (NiO and Fe2O3) and lanthanum hydroxide (La(OH)3). The samples have been investigated by X-ray diffr...
HUNTING MOTION OF THE HIGH SPEED RAILWAY BOGIES WITH INTERCONNECTION AXLES
The axle hunting is a coupled lateral and yaw self-oscillatory motion which is largely determined by wheel-rail contact geometry. The stability of this motion is an important dynamic problem that determines the maximum o...
NEW APPROACHES ON MODULAR WALKING ROBOTS WITH FORCE-POSITION HYBRID CONTROL
The paper presents the fundamental and applicative research regarding the elaboration of new concepts and new approaches on modular walking robots force-position hybrid control by developing and experimenting with a mult...
