بررسی ارتباط سلامت دهان با مشخصات جمعیت‌شناختی سالمندان بازنشسته

Abstract
اهداف هدف از این مطالعه، تعیین ارتباط سلامت دهان با مشخصات جمعیت‌شناختی سالمندان بازنشسته بود. مواد و روش ها این پژوهش به روش توصیفی‌تحلیلی بر روی ۱۵۸ نفر سالمند بالای ۶۰ سال تحت پوشش سازمان بازنشستگی شهرداری تهران به روش نمونه‌گیری تصادفی انجام شد. داده‌ها به صورت مستقیم و با مصاحبه مستقیم گردآوری شد. ابزار گردآوری داده‌ها شامل پرسش‌نامه مشخصات جمعیت‌شناختی و پرسش‌نامه شاخص سنجش سلامت دهان سالمندان بود. یافته ها ۹۰ نفر (۵۷ درصد) از پاسخگویان سالمندان مرد و ۶۸ نفر (۴۳ درصد) سالمندان زن بودند. میانگین سن سالمندان مورد‌مطالعه ۶۸/۷۸ سال بود. سلامت دهان با سن (P=۰/۰۰۴)، جنس (P=۰/۰۳۴)، و تحصیلات (P=۰/۰۰۰۱) رابطه معنی‌دار داشت. وضعیت سلامت دهان و دندان سالمندان مرد بهتر از سالمندان زن بود. نتیجه گیری با توجه به اهمیت فراوان سلامت دهان و دندان در افزایش کیفیت زندگی سالمندان، در هنگام طراحی مداخلات برای ارتقای سلامت دهان سالمندان، توجه به ویژگی‌های جمعیت‌شناختی آن‌ها ضروری به نظر می‌رسد.۶۸
