BUDGET SYSTEM OF THE EUROPEAN UNION: POLICY DEVELOPMENT AND PROSPECTS OF FINANCING

Abstract
The first part of the paper points out the basic characteristics of the budget of the European union, its basic objectives, principles and specifics. The second part analyzes the development of the budget from the beginning to the last multiannual financial framework. The third defines in detail the types of the main sources of budget revenues and its expenditures. In the last part, the paper analyzes the possible projection of the future of the European union budget through its financial framework for the period from 2014 to 2020.
