Abstract
W artykule przedstawiono ścieżki kariery byłych oficerów na wrocławskim rynku pracy. Autor podjął próbę porównania między posiadanymi kwalifikacjami a wyborem zawodu na cywilnym rynku pracy. Przedstawił możliwości zatrudnienia i kompetencje, jakie posiadają byli oficerowie. Jest to grupa specyficzna, ponieważ jej uczestnicy mają szczególne, w odróżnieniu od innych grup społecznych, predyspozycje i umiejętności. Autor przedstawił motywację byłych oficerów w poszukiwaniu zatrudnienia, a także najczęściej zajmowane stanowiska. W artykule zaprezentowano również organy cywilne i wojskowe, które ukierunkowują byłych oficerów w poszukiwaniu zatrudnienia.
