CALCULATION OF CYLINDRICAL PRODUCTS MADE OF COMPOSITE MATERIALS USING WRAP TECHNOLOGY
Journal Title: Journal of Mechanical Engineering Research & Developments (JMERD) - Year 2019, Vol 42, Issue 2
Abstract
The paper has developed the calculation method of composite structure design according to wrap technology, the main results have been achieved: (i) – Constructing a mathematical model of composting tank under pressure of two sealed cylindrical layers by “grid method” with the following solutions: All tensile loads absorbed by the fibers, the tensile strength of the substrate in composite materials can be ignored; Composite shell is a non-torque shell with a relative thickness within the limits: ; Stress on all fibers everywhere, at any point of the surface, is constant or durable shell is uniform; and (ii)- The applied mathematical model to calculate structural parameters of fabrication of water filter.

HIGH PERFORMANCE WATER TREATMENT TECHNOLOGY FOR THE RESERVOIR PRESSURE MAINTENANCE AT OIL FIELDS
This article considers the problem of deterioration of permeability of reservoirs in the bottom-hole zone, as well as the problem of decrease of water intake capacity of water injection wells due to colmatation of pores...
DESIGN AND DEVELOPMENT OF A LOW-COST 3D METAL PRINTER
3D printing or additive manufacturing (AM) is a technology that enables the fabrication of 3D data by depositing a thin layer of material layer-by-layer until a final product is produced. Recently, the application of met...
INFLUENCE OF NICKEL ON THE MICROSTRUCTURE AND MECHANICAL PROPERTIES OF ALUMINUM COPPER ALLOY
This paper presents the results of Nickel component on the microstructure and mechanical properties of the aluminum-copper alloy. With the same heat treatment process (heated to 850oC quenching in water and tempering at...
COMPUTATIONAL STUDY OF FLOW CHARACTERISTICS OVER HIGH LIFT AIRFOIL AT VARIOUS ANGLES OF ATTACK
A numerical simulation aiming to study and investigate flow behavior over a high lift low speed airfoil type AG-16 at various angles of attack ranging from 0 degree to 15 degree and constant Reynolds number “39,709” was...
USING BRASS FOIL INTERLAYER TO IMPROVE THE RESISTANCE SPOT WELDING AA5451 WITH APPLY TAGUCHI METHOD
The aim of this work was to investigate the effect of resistance spot welding (RSW) parameters on the quality of AA5451 joint with brass foil interlayer. Three welding parameters were used; welding current: 12750 and 135...
