CALCULATION of the CEREBRAL HEMORRHAGE VOLUME USING ANALYSIS of COMPUTED TOMOGRAPHY IMAGE
Journal Title: International Journal of Innovative Research in Advanced Engineering - Year 2017, Vol 0, Issue 0
Abstract
A study of cerebral hemorrhage detection using computed tomography with head image has been done. The process after detection is the determination of the area and volume of hemorrhage. Image processing techniques used are Segmentation of Otsu method. This segmentation method successfully obtained binary image and proceed with morphology process, with output image result of morphology operaionis calculated the area. After the area of the object on each image slice is obtained, the next step is the volume calculation. Volume calculation is done by summing the area of the object on each slice then the result multiplied by the slice thickness. The result of the use of image processing techniques can be offered as a substitute for manual calculating by doctors.

Optimal Capacitor Placement for IEEE 14 bus system using Genetic Algorithm
Genetic Algorithm (GA) is a non-parametric optimization technique that is frequently used in problems of combinatory nature with discrete or continuous variables. Depending on the evaluation function used this optimizati...
Anticorrosive Activity of Rosemarinus officinalis L. Leaves Extract Against Mild Steel in Dilute Hydrochloric Acid
The rosemary (Rosemarinus officialis L) leaves extract was evaluated for inhibitive action towards the corrosion of mild steel in 0.1 N HCl at ambient temperature by gravimetric and potential monitoring techniques. There...
ENGINE BATTERY HYPER- CHARGING FOR HYBRID CARS
In I.C Engines, the excess heat during the power stroke plays a vital role. Many new concepts are generated to cool the engine. This paper deals with usage of Excess heat from the cylinder of any engine there-by generati...
An Investigation of the Interlayer Adhesion Strength in Deeper Layers of the Pavement Structure
A road pavement structure is typically composed of different layers arranged one on top of the other, all supported by a natural or improved subgrade. The main purpose of this configuration is to provide the most effecti...
Computational Approaches for Monitoring Voltage Stability in Power Networks
Voltage collapse and major blackouts have been repeatedly encountered in large power networks. The prime reason for this, is failure of systems ability to maintain synchronization. Under such condition system fails to ma...
