Campylobacter – A Foodborne Pathogen
Journal Title: International Journal of Science and Research (IJSR) - Year 2015, Vol 4, Issue 3
Abstract
Campylobacter is well recognized as the leading cause of bacterial food borne diarrheal disease worldwide. Symptoms can range from mild to serious infections of the children and the elderly. The organism is a cytochrome oxidase positive, microaerophilic, curved Gram-negative rod exhibiting cork screw motility and is carried in the intestine of many wild and domestic animals, particularly avian species including poultry. Intestinal colonization results in healthy animals as carriers. In contrast with the most recent published reviews that cover specific aspects of Campylobacter/campylobacteriosis, this broad review aims at elucidating and discussing (i) genus Campylobacter, growth and survival characteristics (ii) detection, isolation and confirmation of Campylobacte (iii) campylobacteriosis and presence of virulence factors (iv)Clinical features in special set-up, antimicrobial susceptibility pattern.
A New Method for Construction of MV-optimal Generalized Group Divisible Designs with two Groups
In this article, we consider the construction of generalized group divisible designs with two groups (GGDD(2)) from balanced incomplete block designs (BIBD). We also discuss MV-optimality of these designs.

A Reverse Auction for Proactively Expressing the Delay Tolerance in Cellular Network
"Cellular networks (e.g., 3G) are currently facing severe traffic overload problems caused by excessive traffic demands. So Offloading part of the cellular traffic through other forms of networks, such as Delay Tolerant...
On a New Class of Uniformly Convex Univalent Functions with Negative Coefficient Defined by a Linear Operator
The main purpose of this paper is to introduce new class of uniformly convex functions with negative coefficients defined by a linear operator in theopen unit disc U. We obtain some geometric properties, likes coefficien...
