Journal Title: Roczniki Bieszczadzkie - Year 2013, Vol 21, Issue 1

Abstract

Five cases of non-typical colouration of the bank vole in the Bieszczady Mts. (Stuposiany Forest District – 49º6’11’’ N, 22º49’34’’ E ) were described. Voles had a light beige fur colour and dark eyes. This type of mutation is called as leucism. This is the first record of colouration anomalies of small mammals in eastern Poland and in the Bieszczady Mts.
