ЧАСТОТНІСТЬ АЛЮЗИВНИХ ТИПІВ ЯК СТАТИСТИЧНИЙ ПАРАМЕТР У ТЕКСТАХ БРИТАНСЬКИХ ПРОЗАЇКІВ-МОДЕРНІСТІВ

Abstract
An analysis of allusive elements in the British literature is carried out. The statistical aspects of the functioning of allusions in the British literature of modernism are researched. The key types of allusive units in the literature are highlighted. Among them mythological, theological, literary, historical and social, folklore, everyday-life, art and personal allusions are distinguished. The random samples of the texts of seven authors were taken as the material for the investigation. The distance between the generated samples of the authors is calculated and the differences in the distribution of different types of allusive units in the text samples are revealed. The analysis is carried out with the help of t-test.
