CATALOGUE OF COORDINATES AND B-MAGNITUDES IN - 20є – +2є ZONE BASED ON THE ULUGH BEG ASTRONOMICAL INSTITUTE PART OF THE FON PROJECT
Journal Title: Odessa Astronomical Publications - Year 2017, Vol 30, Issue
Abstract
Catalogue of 13.4 million stars down to 17.5m was obtained in 2017 by using plates from the Kitab Observatory of Ulugh Beg Astronomical Institute (UBAI) of the Uzbek Academy of Sciences. Kitab's part of Photographic Sky Survey (Russian abbreviation is FON, in next contexts) project include more than 2600 photographic plates, exposed on the Double Astrograph of Zeiss (DAZ, D/F = 40/300, 69"/mm) from 1981 to 1996. Digitizationof these plates was made by using Epson Expression 10000XL scanner with the 1200 dpi resolution. Catalogue includes objects from the 1963 plates in declination zone between -20° and +2° for middle epoch 1984.97. The equatorial coordinates of objects were determined in the Tycho-2 reference system and the B-magnitudes in the system of the photoelectric standards. Five participants from Uzbekistan, Germany and Ukraine have taken part in the processing of the digitized images. The average internal accuracy of the catalogue for one observation are 0.23" and 0.15m for the equatorial coordinates and B-magnitudes respectively. For the stars brighter than 14m the errors are 0.09" and 0.05m respectively. The analysis of the catalogue and its comparison with the several astrometric catalogues was done.

DOPPLER STATION FOR ORBITAL TRACKING OF LOW-ORBIT SPACECRAFTS BY THEIR RADIO BEACON SIGNALS
A ground station of orbital tracking of low-orbit spacecrafts has been developed and tested in the RI "Mykolaiv Astronomical Observatory". The station uses the Doppler shift of frequencies of signals radiated by spacecra...
NO THE HOLMBERG EFFECT FOR GALAXY PAIRS SELECTED FROM THE SDSS DR9 AT Z ≤ 0:06
We studied the Holmberg effect in galaxy pairs selected from the SDSS DR9, where 60561galaxies were limited by redshift 0.02 < z < 0.06 and absolute magnitude: Mr ≤ −20.7 m for central galaxies (N=18578) and Mr > −21.5 m...
REVISION OF THE PHENOMENOLOGICAL CHARACTERISTICS OF THE ALGOL-TYPE STARS USING THE NAV ALGORITHM
Phenomenological characteristics of the sample of the Algol – type stars are revised using a recently developed NAV (“New Algol Variable”) algorithm (2012Ap.....55..536A, 2012arXiv 1212.6707A) and compared to that obtain...
Hα AND Hβ PROFILE VARIATIONS IN THE SPECTRA OF THE STAR 55 CYG
We study the variability of the Hα and Hβ lines in the spectra of 55 Cyg based on observations acquired in 2014 on the 2-m telescope of Shamakhy Astrophysical Observatory. In this work line profiles...
HIP 13962 – THE POSSIBLE FORMER MEMBER OF BINARY SYSTEM WITH SUPERNOVA
The run away supergiant star HIP13962 (spectral type G0Ia) was recently pointed as a possible former binary companion of young pulsar PSRJ0826+2637. The spectraof HIP13962 wereo btained in Haute-Provence observatory (Fra...
