CENTERS FOR TOURIST INFORMATION: FUNCTIONING AT THE PRESENT STAGE AND PROSPECTS OF ACTIVITY IN UKRAINE TAKING INTO ACCOUNT THE EXPERIENCE OF EUROPEAN COUNTRIES

Abstract
The role of tourist information centers as elements of the innovative structure of tourism of the territory has been investigated. The analysis of the last publications on this issue have been conducted and the unexploredaspects have beenidentified. The activities and forms of functioning of the TIC in the leading tourist countries of the world have been described. The territorial location of tourist information centers in Ukraine hasbeen analyzed. The purposes and tasks of creating tourist information centers have been presented. The need to expand the TIC network in Ukraine, and the transformation of tourist information centers into a connecting link among all participants in the tourism market has been concluded in the article.
