Ceutorhynchus plumbeus C.N.F. Brisout de Barneville (Coleoptera: Curculionidae), nowy żywiciel parazytoida Trichomalus perfectus (Walker) (Hymenoptera: Pteromalidae)

Abstract
Ceutorhynchus plumbeus C.N.F. Brisout de Barneville (Coleoptera: Curculionidae), a new host of the parasitoid Trichomalus perfectus (Walker) (Hymenoptera: Pteromalidae). The parasitoid pteromalid Trichomalus perfectus (Walker) was known to develop predominantly in the cabbage seedpot weevil Ceutorhynchus obstrictus (Marsham) in seeds of canola, and in five other ceutorhynchine species. For the first time, we report another weevil host for this species, Ceutorhynchus plumbeus C.N.F. Brisout, whose larvae induce collective root-crown galls on the treacle-mustard Erysimum cheiranthoides L. Males and females of T. perfectus were reared from galls of C. plumbeus collected in Wrocław, SW Poland. Novel data on the biology of C. plumbeus are provided.
