Challenges of Digital Twin System
Journal Title: Acta Technica Jaurinensis - Year 2019, Vol 12, Issue 3
Abstract
Today’s manufacturing and assembly systems have to be flexible to adapt quickly to an increasing number and variety of products. The Industry 4.0 conceptualization has several potentials, i.e. flexibility in business and manufacturing processes, where the intelligent and interconnected systems, in particular the Cyber-Physical Production System (CPPS), play a vital role in the whole lifecycle of eco-designed products. In particular, the CPPS represents a suitable way for manufacturers that want to involve their customers, delivering instructions to machines about their specific orders and follow its progress along the production line, in an inversion of normal manufacturing. The development of Info Communication Technologies (ICT) and Manufacturing Science and Technology (MST) enables the innovation of Cyber-Physical Production Systems. However, there are still important challenges that need to be addressed in particular at technological and data analysis level with the implementation of Deep Learning analysis.

Comparative Analysis of Axlebox Accelerations in Correlation with Track Geometry Irregularities
Stochastic track irregularities influence additional dynamic forces developed in the vehicle-track interaction that lead to faster deterioration of track. For economical track maintenance it is important to understand th...
Measuring the Efficiency of Parallel Discrete Event Simulation in Heterogeneous Execution Environments
This paper deals with the experimental testing and verification of the earlier proposed load balancing and coupling factor criteria for the conservative parallel discrete event simulation in heterogeneous execution envir...
Rotational Motion Modelling for Numerical Analysis of Electric Machines
The paper presents a brief review of the movement modelling methods of electric machines and the two most common used torque calculation techniques. After the classification of single-layer moving band methods, a low com...
Special Thermal Insulation Methods of Building Constructions with Nanomaterials
Nanotechnology-based materials have previously been used by space research, pharmaceuticals and electronics, but in the last decade several nanotechnology-based thermal insulation materials have appeared in the building...
Preprocessing Endoscopic Images of Colorectal Polyps
Classification of polyps in the human colorectum is a hot topic of gastroenterology. The current advancements in devices of endoscopy made it possible to product high resolution images of polyps with different light filt...
