Challenging of the transactions in insolvency proceedings

Abstract
Abstract. The paper analyses challenging of the transactions in Insolvency Law in Latvia, the problems associated with the challenging of the transactions in insolvency proceedings, as well as the essence of challenging of the transactions in civil law.The aim of the paper is: based on the theory of law, provisions of law and court practice to review the problematic issues linked to the practice of challenging of the transactions in insolvency proceedings in order to offer the possible solution and remedy.Based on the research findings the authors arrived at the conclusion that the practical application of Chapter 17 of the Insolvency Law is in constant correlation with the general and specific rules, as well as a variety of different life situations and case law of these norms.
