Characteristic of daughters of the Volyn meat breed bulls, semen which is in the bank GRA IABG NAAS

Abstract
The article contains the investigation of the growth, development and productive use of daughters of Volyn meat breed bulls which semen is intended for long-term storage. Individual data of 30 cows which belong to the Krasavchik 3004 and Yamb 3066 lines are analyzed. The dynamics of live body weight in cows changes depending on the age (at birth, in 8, 12, 15, 18 month, 5 years). The highest average values of live weight have been observed in the daughters of Kovryk 2430 bull. In the studied animals a regular decrease of the relative growth rate of live body weight with age were observed. In the period from 8 to 12 and from 15 to 18 months, the highest growth rate was observed in the daughters of the bull Javor 2391 (38.85 %). In the period from 12 to 15 months live weight increased more intensively in Cactus 2491 daughters (17.96 %). The observed animals had breed specific exterior features and development of meat forms. The results of measurements of the body parts higher values are typical for Kovryk 2430 daughters. In the cows an increase of level of dairy productivity with subsequent calving was observed. In the context of the three calving the amount of milk was from 172 kg to 240 kg. The highest live weight of calves at weaning was in a group of daughters of a Kovryk 2430 bull. The observed daughters of the bulls have desirable indicators of live body weight and level of dairy productivity, which contributes efficiency of a growing and implementing genetic potential in the young animals.
