Characteristic of Energy Supply for Agricultural Enterprises of Zaporizhzhia Region

Abstract
When analyzing key parameters of energy enterprises, a number of specific features of the sectoral energy consumption was recognized, which are of different origins, intensity, type of action and, accordingly, determination of need for energy resources in the agricultural production. Based on the structure of energy capacity of agricultural enterprises, mobile nature of agricultural production is substantiated. A process of quality updating the tractor fleet of agrarian units of the region, as represented through the growth of the medium power of tractor engine, has been detected. Structure of the fuel and energy resources (FER) was analyzed and the tendencies of their consumption were disclosed. It has been determined, that the basis of the fuel and energy balance of agricultural enterprises of Zaporizhzhia region consists of gasoils. In view of the increase in the consumption of diesel fuel, a logical tendency of replacing the motor gasoline has been identified, which is caused by upgrading the enterprises' fleet of trucks. Pivotal role of agriculture in the energy balance of the region for certain types of energy has been substantiated. It has been stressed, that the main difference between agricultural enterprises of Zaporizhzhia region from the Ukraine-wide is the low share of natural gas in the consumption of FER. Increasing the efficiency and reducing the intensity of energy use in agricultural enterprises of the region has been determined.
