CHARACTERISTICS OF GENDER EDUCATION IN THE HIGHER EDUCATIONAL INSTITUTION

Abstract
On the basis of studying and analyzing scientific literary sources in the article the essence of the concept of “gender education” is considered, as well as its contents and functions are revealed. There are also explored the peculiarities of the formation of gender competence among students in the conditions of the educational process in the higher educational institution. The criteria of gender education of students are determined.
