Characteristics of hazelnut (Corylus domestica Kosenko et Opalko) cultivars and forms propagation by ligneous cuttings

Abstract
The findings of the researches on the rooting of ligneous cuttings of different cultivars and forms of hazelnut are cited. It is established that the cuttings have low regeneration capability and their rooting depends on cultivars' features, on the dates of preparation and planting for root generation as well as on use of the cuttings taken from certain part of shoot. It is revealed that technology improvement of hazelnut cultivars and forms propagation by ligneous cuttings can be achieved by optimal assortment selection and by introduction of agronomic techniques.
