Characterization of Zinc Nanoferrite Doped HPMC Polymers Using X-Ray Diffraction
Journal Title: Journal of Nuclear Physics, Material Sciences, Radiation and Applications - Year 2014, Vol 1, Issue 2
Abstract
HPMC Polymer composites were prepared by doping various concentrations of Zinc ferrite nanoparticles using solution casting method. These polymer composites were characterized using X-Ray Diffraction and conductivity measurements. The addition of nanoferrites in the polymer matrix do change the structural and the AC conductivity properties of the film, which is supported by the results obtained and they are discussed briefly in this paper.

Stability of Aspartic Acid at 77°K under Gamma Radiation in a Comet Cores Simulation: Implications for Chemical Evolution Studies
The synthesis of organic matter in a simulated primitive environment (terrestrial or extraterrestrial) has been widely studied. The stability of organic matter of biological significance, exposed to energy fields in prim...
Forward-Backward Multiplicity Correlations in Relativistic Heavy-Ion Collisions
Forward-backward multiplicitycorrelations are investigated by analyzing the experimental data on 6O-AgBr collisions at 14.5A, 60A and 200A GeV/c and the findings are compared with the predictions of Monte Carlo model, hI...
Quantum Effects on the Linear Dispersion Characteristics in Electron-Positron Plasma
In electron-positron plasmas some of the plasma modes are decoupled due to the equal charge to mass ratio of both species. The dispersion properties of the propagation of linear waves in degenerate electron–positron magn...
A Scaling Law for L-Shell X-Ray Production Cross Sections Induced by Impact of 4He+, 9Be2+, and 14N2+ Ions
Experimental results of L-subshell X-ray production cross sections induced by the impact of several ions heavier than protons were compiled in order to propose possible scaling laws. The ions of interest in this work are...
