Characterization of Zinc Nanoferrite Doped HPMC Polymers Using X-Ray Diffraction
Journal Title: Journal of Nuclear Physics, Material Sciences, Radiation and Applications - Year 2014, Vol 1, Issue 2
Abstract
HPMC Polymer composites were prepared by doping various concentrations of Zinc ferrite nanoparticles using solution casting method. These polymer composites were characterized using X-Ray Diffraction and conductivity measurements. The addition of nanoferrites in the polymer matrix do change the structural and the AC conductivity properties of the film, which is supported by the results obtained and they are discussed briefly in this paper.

The Meijer’s G-functions Convenient for Describing β & γ-decays
The purpose of this paper is to show that the Meijer’s G-functions, as a very general complex functions which include all elementary, and most of the special functions, can describe some phenomena in nuclear physics. In...
Radiation Induced Oxidation Reactions of Ferrous Ions: An Agent-based Model
Chemical Fricke dosimeter in the laboratory can be submitted to gamma radiation at low temperatures to study the evolution of oxidation reactions induced by radiation, a key process to understand the formation of complex...
NaI(Tl) Scintillator's Response Functions for Point-like and Distributed Gamma-ray Sources
The response functions of a NaI(Tl) detectors have been estimated using Monte Carlo methods. Response functions were calculated for monoenergetic photon sources (0.05 to 3 MeV). Responses were calculated for point-like s...

Theoretical Study of Interplay Between Superconductivity and Itinerant Ferromagnetism
Following Green’s function technique and equation of motion method, the coexistence of superconductivity (SC) and itinerant ferromagnetism (FM) is investigated in a single band homogenous system. Self-consistent equation...
