Chronic Subdural Hematoma Mimicking Placenta in Brain: A Case Report
Journal Title: Nepal Journal of Neuroscience - Year 2014, Vol 11, Issue 2
Abstract
The chronic subdural hematoma is a well known entity in old age and the treatment is very challenging. Treatment protocol depends upon the radiological fi nding. Burr hole evacuation is the treatment of choice except in organized hematoma with thick membrane formation of chronic subdural hematoma where craniotomy with membranectomy is preferred to avoid recurrent bleeding.
