CHRONOTOPE OF THE NOVEL “THE AGE OF INNOCENCE” BY EDITH WHARTON

Abstract
The article deals with the peculiarities of the chronotope in the novel “The Age of Innocence” by Edith Wharton. The influence of naturalistic philosophy upon organization of the chronotope in the novel has been traced. The categories of time and space have been analyzed as well as their interaction within the novel.
