Civilization approach in comparative jurisprudence

Abstract
Analyzes the methodological capability of the local civilizations’ concept and civilization- stages approach in comparative jurisprudence. The author’s understanding of term “civiliza- tion” as planetary movement of mankind to the legal type of culture is given. Concluded that it is possible through legal civilization-stages approach to identify a specific place of any society on the scale of civilized development.
