Out of 64 patients with cardiac involvement 54 had bradycardia, 7 had carditis and 3 patient had anginal pain with ST-T wave changes with positive cardiac biomarkers. 72 patients had dengue shock syndrome out of which 7 patients died with multiorgan dysfunction. Mortality 9 was more common in patients with platelet count <50000 on day one, in patients with serositis, high hematocrit, low systolic blood pressure, deranged renal function and hepatitis.
