Co filozofowie sądzą o mądrości, a co dzieci?

Abstract

What do Philosophers and What do Children Think about Wisdom? Although nowadays the terms ʽwisdom’ and ʽprudence’ are not commonly used, the virtue they stand for is presently most desired. Moral philosophers and psychologists interpret those terms in different ways. Also, pre-school children express interesting and innovative opinions about wisdom. In this article, children’s opinions are juxtaposed to the views expressed by philosophers on the same items. Children’s viewpoints may impress one with a fresh look, sincerity of enunciations, and eventually, it turns out that sometimes kids reach the same conclusions as educated philosophers do. It’s worth philosophizing with children, since this will help in stimulating their reflections over the surrounding world, it will shape their creative approach to problem solving and finally, it will support their moral development
