Explicit / fairy-tale level of reading English multimodal literary fairy tale provides information for the children’s audience and is based on a parallel correlation between verbal and iconic components. The implicit / latent philosophical level of reading English multimodal literary fairy tale is aimed at an adult audience and consists of a paragraphemic / graphic component that contributes connotative semantic or prosodic nuances to the meaning of the verbal component. The focus of the text of English multimodal literary fairy tale on two recipients signals the origin of the game which combines simultaneously the subjectivity (inherent to a child recipient) and the objectivity (characteristic of an adult recipient) concerning perception of “magic” events.
