Comparative Analysis of Habitability Levels of Countries with COPRAS Method: BRICS Countries and Turkey

Abstract
The ability of people in a country to live a quality life depends on certain economic, social and political criteria. These criteria include a low rate of unemployment, a fair distribution of income, urbanization, and quality of education and health systems. In this study, comparative analysis of the habitability levels of the BRICS (Brazil, Russia, India, China, South Africa) countries with Turkey is aimed to be done by the COPRAS method. In the study, GDP, population density, average life span, unemployment rate, human development index have been taken as criteria. At the end of the study, the order of the countries obtained with the data has been interpreted in the conclusion part. As a result of analysis, Russia has been detected to be the first country in terms of the level of habitability and the second is China with a slight difference, and the last is South Africa. Turkey took the fourth place in the rankings.
