Comparative estimate of the cost of thermal energy from the operating and projected heat-generating sources for the systems of heat supply of Ukrain
Journal Title: Проблеми загальної енергетики - Year 2016, Vol 0, Issue 3
Abstract
We present the results of calculations of the average cost of thermal energy for the life cycle of boiler houses, working on different kinds of fossil fuels, rendering plants, heat pump station (HPS), and solar power plant. We have established that, under conditions of market competition, it is most reasonable to implement boilers using bituminous coal and waste energy (exhaust gases). In order that HPS could compete with gas boiler houses, it is necessary to reduce the cost of electricity for HPS, or increase the transformation ratio of heat pumps, or lower the cost of equipment for HPS. This, in turn, can be achieved by using heat pumps and other equipment of domestic production.

Economic-mathematical model of fuel supply for thermal power sector taking into account the substitution of regular fuel and limits for emissions
The economic and mathematical model for choosing the optimal variant of the thermal power sector operation and the corresponding method of coal supply is presented. The model includes production activities for coal suppl...
Influence of the geometrical characteristics of the surface with spherical wells on heat exchange of water and air
One of the ways of increasing the cooling capacity of film-type cooling towers is the use of sprinklers in the form of profiled surfaces with spherical dimples, which provide a high efficiency of heat transfer from water...
Heating system accumulative capability
Thermal capacity accumulation is essentially present in any heat supply system. First the heat source heats the heat carrier (actually this is the process of accumulation of heat in fluids) then the heat carrier return t...
Mathematical modeling of processes of automatic frequency and power control in IPS with solar power plants
The unstable nature of solar power plant (SPP) power output in the network determines the need for a comprehensive study of the relevant control processes and their impact on the operation of the power system, especially...
Input-output model aggregation method
The aggregation method is proposed for input-output statistical tables (intermediate consumption matrix and vectors of final consumption, production, gross domestic product (value added), overall costs) to reduce their d...
