Comparative Risk Assessment in Applicative Aerospace Projects using different approaches
Journal Title: INCAS BULLETIN - Year 2018, Vol 10, Issue 2
Abstract
Certification of the quality management system for aviation, space and defense organizations, according to EN 9100: 2016 / AS 9100D standard requires compliance with the operational risk management requirement. This article proposes the risk assessment for an applicative aerospace project, using three different approaches. The first method for the risk assessment is described in SR EN 16601-80: 2015 standard - Space Project Management. Part 80: Risk management. The second method for performing the risk analyzes proposes the use of the FMEA (Failure Mode and Effect Analysis) technique described in SR EN 31010: 2010 standard - Risk Management. Risk assessment techniques. The third approach presented is based on the risk assessment and quantification using Risk Management Guidance Material from IAQG - International Aerospace Quality Group, section 7.3.2.

On the evaluation of mechanical properties of honeycombs by using finite element analyses
This paper presents some general two- and three-dimensional finite element models to study the equivalent orthotropic mechanical properties of honeycombs. The models are developed on a representative volume element with...
A parametric study of a thick, incompressible flow over a curved surface
The purpose of this paper is to investigate the lift phenomenon produced by the Coanda effect when a fluid flows over a curved surface. A secondary goal was to quantify and to integrate it on super circulation wing aircr...
Study of Vortex Breakdown and Pitch up on a Compound Delta Wing
This paper discusses the calculation of mean pressure on a compound delta wing configuration and its variance to understand vortex breakdown and pitch up on the setup. The configuration of the compound delta wing being u...
Optimizing ideal ion propulsion systems depending on the nature of the propellant
From all accounts the ion thrusters are characterized by the fact that they produce a very high exhaust velocity and specific impulse, sometimes too high for many missions. The exhaust velocity of the ionized particles i...
