Comparison of Anxiety among Foster and Non-foster Children Based on CAT

Abstract
The purpose of this causal-comparative study is to compare anxiety of foster and non-foster children. Participants includes non-foster children including 7-10 year-old male and female students from two schools in Tehran, Iran and foster 7-10 year-old male and female children who have lived in circadian center for at least one year. The sample includes 50 7-10 year-old female and male children, 23 foster and 27 non-foster children. Material used for the study was CAT. Chi-square was used to analyze data. Results showed a significant difference (p>0.05) between levels of anxiety among foster and normal students.
