Comparison of binomial proportions: new test
Journal Title: Colloquium Biometricum; Colloquium Biometricum (Online) - Year 2017, Vol 47, Issue
Abstract
n the problem of comparison of two probabilities of success the most widely used is approximate test based on de Moivre-Laplace theorem. In the paper a test based on likelihood ratio is proposed. Those tests are compared due to probability of an error of the first kind. A medical example is presented.

LINEAR STATISTICAL INFERENCE ON THE CHLOROPHYLL CONTENT IN DIFFERENT STAGES OF THE MAIZE VARIETY ‘ANJOU 258’
The paper deals with an additional particular analysis of the four-year study on the chlorophyll content of the maize variety ‘Anjou 258’. The field trial was conducted every year in a split-plot design at the Agricultur...
The growth curve model with heterogenous fractional decreasing correlation structure
In this text we will derive estimators of unknown parameters for growth curve model with different decrease of dependency in groups and we will compare them for the case of two groups. We will use method of maximum likel...
Genotype by environment interaction for length of flowering time in winter oilseed rape (Brassica napus L.) using additive main effects and multiplicative interaction model
The objective of this study was to assess genotype by environment interaction for length of flowering time in winter oilseed rape cultivars grown in West Poland by the additive main effects and multiplicative interaction...
LOGIC REGRESSION FOR DIAGNOSTIC CLASSIFICATION BY MEANS OF BIOMARKER PANELS
Biomarkers can indicate a variety of health or disease characteristics, including the level or type of exposure to an environmental factor, genetic susceptibility, genetic responses to exposures, markers of subclinical o...
Regular D-optimal weighing designs with negative correlations of errors: new classes
In this paper, the properties of the regular D-optimal chemical balance weighing design are considered. We consider this design under assumption that the measurements errors are equally negative correlated they have the...
