Comparison of Optimization Techniques for Mutual Information based Real Time Image Registration
Journal Title: International Journal of Advanced Research in Computer Engineering & Technology(IJARCET) - Year 2013, Vol 2, Issue 3
Abstract
Image registration is the process of aligning two or more images of the same scene. A direct image registration approach uses Mutual Information (MI) as an image alignment. Mutual Information is a measure of the similarity of different images. It is robust, accurate and real-time for the both monomodal and multimodal images. It has the ability to perform robust alignment with illumination changes, multi-modality and occlusions. This method also helps to produce accurate image registration results in both monomodal and multimodal images. Time consumption is greatly reduced by this method. The optimization techniques used here are to protect the Mutual Information cost function.

On Fault Tolerance of Resources in Grid Environment
Abstract—Grid computing, most simply stated, is distributed computing taken to the next evolutionary level. The goal is to create the illusion of a simple yet large and powerful self managing virtual computer out of a...
Thermal nondestructive testing and spice simulation with approach of electro-thermal modelling
Non-destructive testing (NDT) refers to all the test methods, which permit testing or inspection of object without impairing its future usefulness. The aim of NDT is the detection of damages or unwanted irregularities...
Modeling of Fuel Cell Electrical Supply Management System for Onboard Marine Application
This paper presents the design of A dynamic model of the PROTON EXCHANGE FUEL CELL (PEMFC) developed in MATLAB for the marine applications of renewable power generation in on board ships or commercial vessels.. A three p...
Modelling and Controller Design of Inverted Pendulum
In this paper modeling of an inverted pendulum has been done and then three different controllers (PID & SFB, LQR) have been used for stabilization of the pendulum. The proposed system extends classical inverted...
MSNN based techniques for Face and Eye Recognition
The accurate technique of face recognition effects the performance of a face detection system. An accurate eye localization system is required for better results. There are various techniques for Face and eye det...
